Merrimac Ventures Reveals Plans for Bungalow East: A Boutique Luxury Condominium in Fort Lauderdale Beach
Merrimac Ventures has announced Bungalow East, a 14-story luxury condominium at 530 North Birch Road, Fort Lauderdale Beach. The development will feature 34 exclusive residences, with construction starting in late 2025 and an estimated 18-month completion timeline.
Located steps from the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway, the project offers three- and four-bedroom residences ranging from 2,100 to 2,800 square feet. Two penthouses, spanning approximately 4,000 square feet, will include private rooftop decks. Residences, priced between $2 million and $4 million, will showcase floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive terraces with summer kitchens, private elevators, and chef-inspired kitchens with gas ranges.

Designed by Swedroe Architecture and Adriana Hoyos Design Studio, Bungalow East will incorporate natural materials, wood accents, and neutral tones. Amenities include a resort-style pool deck, wellness center with massage rooms and beauty salon, rooftop sunset lounge, yoga lawn, gaming and entertainment lounge, and a conference center. Additional features include a pet-friendly dog run and spa, and a ground-floor retail space envisioned for a café or wine bar.
